I believe that parents must have the right to review materials on such a sensitive subject as sex education and all that may entail, and opt their children out, if they find it necessary. While it is true that not all parents are equal in their sense of responsibility or their views of education pertaining to this subject, it IS true that this involves religious values, which are still protected by our Constitution. It baffles that this was not taken into consideration before introducing these materials into the classroom. And did anyone consider the effect that gang rape and bestiality would have on young minds? Aren't there more worthy subjects on which to spend classroom time?
