I support creating regulations to address the parental notification when a teacher plans to use sensitive, sexually-explicit material in the classroom.  I also believe parents should have the right to opt their children out of reading material they find offensive.  Sexaully explicit reading is not promoting higher academic standards; it is debasing our society.
