Reject this amendment.

Vote No to removing sensitive language from our books. What is sensitive for one is not necessarily sensitive for others.  In our great country, we are allowed to have intellectual freedom and we do a huge disservice to our students if we allow this sensitive amendment to pass. Censoring materials will stifle clear thinking and discourse. Our students will not be able to critically discern or exchange ideas freely in such an environment.  Educators have policies already in place for those who may have concerns regarding curriculum materials. Please do not pass this measure!
