Absolutely support! There is no agreed-upon core of literature used in our public schools. Choices in literature are left up entirely to the teachers. This is absurd. Some of the teachers make weak and poor choices, and I'm sure that some choose materials that are inappropriate. Parents should absolutely have veto power.
