This is a big fail for Virginia’s disabled. What the state would have to pay if these people were in group homes or institutions is probably 10 times what you are paying the people that are taking care of the disabled. They get better care and are allowed the freedom of choice by living in either their own home or the home of someone that loves them. These are people not animals. It seems as Virginia would rather group them together like a herd an d be done with them. I truly hope and pray that you all reconsider what you’re doing. Punishing the many for the crimes of the few(as in what few are fraudulent). It’s just not fair. Some of these people need 24 hour care and are getting cut to 56 hours a week. Caregivers are hard enough to find now you want to make it even more difficult. I’m at a loss, I thought Virginia was better than this.
