I disagree with this petition's attempt to grasp at straws to try to deprive hard working men and women of their livelihoods. 

The process used to fish puts nothing back into the water that was not there to begin with.  No one would argue that a farmer processing crops would be polluting when dirt comes off the combine. We don't tell recreational anglers that a scale or water coming off of their catch is pollution. 

Again, this petition has no merit or factual basis to claim that this widely used industry practice is a contributor to pollution.
