Description Establishes the procedures and requirements to be followed in connection with VPDES permits issued by the Board pursuant to the Clean Water Act and the State Water Control Law.

Goals of Regulation To protect public health and/or welfare with the least possible costs and intrusiveness to the citizens and businesses of the Commonwealth.

To establish consistent procedures and requirements for the issuance of permits for discharges of pollutants through point sources to surface wastes of the Commonwealth in order to effectuate the proper and comprehensive protection of such waters.
