As a Virginian, I am vehemently opposed to the Model policies for the Treatment of Transgender Students in Virginia's Public Schools. I believe that many children (and even many adults) are confused about many things in today's society, and that adoption and implementation of these guidelines will only lead to further confusion among the most innocent and impressionable among us, our children. Biological truth dictates that there are only two genders, as there have been since the beginning of time, and that it is against the laws of nature to recognize any other genders or to recognize a girl as a boy or vice-versa. In the Bible, Genesis 5:1-2 states that "When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God; he created them male and female."
