I find it disturbing that our Government and Education Boards continue to codify policies that entrench gender confusion into our society, especially in age-inappropriate settings. Our biological sex was determined by God, when He allowed conception to occur at a specific point in time and location, to create us to serve Him and each other with our lives. Any attempts to alter His will and purposes for us are personally risky, with eternal consequences.
But when governments attempt to institutionalize these personal relationship issues, it caters to the "me-centered" approach to our lives and society, which continues to disrupt our nation. The president we elected 60 years ago said," Let us not seek the Republican answer, or the Democratic answer, but the right answer. Let us not seek to fix blame for the past. Let us accept our own responsibility for the future." If 300 million Americans continue adopting "me-centered" approaches to our lives, then there are no right answers and we will continually argue and fight over what we perceive to be right and wrong by our own imperfect standards with no moral compass. And as we are seeing, our "one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all" will cease to exist. The Bible says it much better in Proverbs 28:2, "When there is moral rot within a nation, its government topples easily." Daily, we are seeing too much of this truth in our struggling United States. The proposed transgender policy in Virginia education is another step in that direction. There are better ways to show our love for "me-centered" people -- especially in the sexuality domain -- than enabling the confusion of the few to confuse the many. In God we Trust.
