Guidance Document Change: The Model Policies for the Treatment of Transgender Students in Virginia’s Public Schools guidance document was developed in response to House Bill 145 and Senate Bill 161, enacted by the 2020 Virginia General Assembly, which directed the Virginia Department of Education to develop and make available to each school board model policies concerning the treatment of transgender students in public elementary and secondary schools. These guidelines address common issues regarding transgender students in accordance with evidence-based best practices and include information, guidance, procedures, and standards relating to: compliance with applicable nondiscrimination laws; maintenance of a safe and supportive learning environment free from discrimination and harassment for all students; prevention of and response to bullying and harassment; maintenance of student records; identification of students; protection of student privacy and the confidentiality of sensitive information; enforcement of sex-based dress codes; and student participation in sex-specific school activities, events, and use of school facilities.

Document: Model Policies for the treatment of transgender students in VA's Public Schools/22.1-23.3

Because society has embraced this evil lifestyle of homosexuality, now you have young people confused.  I am praying and say let the children just be children. Your efforts are only confusing the little ones. Why not instead encourage them through examples of whole families with a masculine Male Dad and a feminine Female Mom. Why not start reading to them in the classroom about these family roles or allow for play time to be demonstrated by a Mom and Dad and children who are either a girl or a boy....just as it was done when I was in school in the 50's. We had no trouble back then wondering what gender we were! What you see through this effort will be the children having a healthy respect for how they were designed.  They will like themselves and look forward to the role God has created them to carry out.

I believe this is a better alternative than what this bill is proposing. Confusion and the Bullying will cease because there will be no need for it. The kids needs examples and unfortunately when Mommy went out to work in the 70's, she became too busy to pay attention to how society was robbing her of her family. So now we all are asked to make excuses for all this sick behavior.

Leave them to be how they were created, boy or girl....its simple as that. THEREFORE WE ARE OPPOSED TO THIS BILL!

God bless you and help you to do the right thing and to honor God our Creator.
