To me, this takes away from those of us who worked hard and went to school to receive our licenses. What was the the purpose in going to school if we don't need a license to perform certain tasks?
I certainly believe that there are some people who are amazingly trained and qualified who, in theory, should be able to place IV catheters. However, there are some people who should never be able to place them. How can we really draw the line if not through licensing?
