Vehemently Oppose State Agency Gun Ban, which Victimizes Disarmed Citizens

Rescind the state agency gun ban, and withdraw ANY continuation, and/or expansion of any similar, and/or like regulation or legislation.

I, my family, friends, associates, and fellow citizens provide our own security.  Limiting that victimizes us, and leaves us and our communities less resistant to evil and predatory individuals, groups, and forces.

You and I are the first point of safety and defense during a threat.  Firearms provide an effective, compelling, force-opposition capability.

During our daily business, while in and out of state agencies, our transit to and from these venues is the point at which -- and those with ill intent well know this -- we are known, "credible, compelling-force" deficient and defenseless.  You and we have a choice; and I strongly support and value your choice of arming or not.  But removing that choice victimizes us all.

The person is the good or evil force.  A gun is a tool or instrument, subject only to the good or evil of its master.  I trust the overwhelming good of Virginia’s citizens, armed – or not – as they may choose; but choice and potential is a VERY powerful deterrent, and ultimately, if necessary, resistance force.

Respectfully,

Sean
