I am totally, 100% AGAINST any concealed carry permits, for any reason! I have been given the right to bear and carry arms for personal protection as well as for use against governmental tyranny - per this country's constitution!! Any ban on weapons is the government's attempt to eventually take all rights from its citizens. The government of any country, state, county, or city cannot reach any citizen when they are confronted by those attempting to do us harm. By disallowing citizens their rights of protection the government is participating in ANY HARM that comes upon that citizen, and is thereby a CONSPIRATOR in the act. There is NO WAY a government of any size can be in all places at all times, and this is what it would take in orer to afford the proper safegards for each and every citizen.
