I am a Virginia citizen and voter, and I oppose this ban. 

Ignorant, politically motivated gun bans such as these accomplish only one thing: they endanger law abiding citizens and restrict their constitutional freedoms to protect themselves from criminals and terrorists.  Would a murderer bent on killing innocent people at a government office be deterred from his plan by a law against carrying a concealed firearm in said government office? Of course not. But would a law abiding citizen with a concealed carry permit leave his gun at home, when he otherwise would have been armed and prepared to defend himself and others at that same government office from the murderer? Yes, he would. With moronic laws such as this, the murderer will have unarmed victims to kill, because only law abiding citizens will obey them. How many of our nation's terrorist attacks and mass shootings - VA Tech, San Bernadino, Sandy Hook, Fort Hood, etc - could have been averted had the victims been allowed to defend themselves? 

This proposed regulation exemplifies the naive liberal mindset that we can outlaw evil. Governments should empower their citizens to defend themselves from evil, not make them more vulnerable to it.
