Crisis Intervention is an effective service that enables providers an opportunity to respond to high risk situations in a timely manner while continuing to provide therapeutic service. Imposing regulations/restraints on the ability for service providers to initiate crisis intervention strategies would limit the quality of care necessary for high risk populations. I do not see how the proposed regulations would improve the quality of services provided to individuals faced with crisis situations that demand immediate response.
