I am in favor of the current status of the abortion regulations now in effect at the clinics in Virginia. I am convinced that the procedures around abortion are more than simple in-office actions.I dare to say that there is a certain blindness and deafness on the part of defenders of acts of abortion. I do not understand this, but I do not wish to speak vindictively about or to persons who seem to me to suffer from invincible ignorance. I do not pretend to be someone of great wisdom, but I do believe that it is common-sense that the action of a man and a woman brings about the existence of a human being, male or female at the moment of conception. The embryo is a he or a she, that has a right to life. This letter speaks to procedures of clinics involved in an action that denies a male or female the basic right of life. I wish the procedure of abortion were outlawed in Virginia. Since that is not so, then I wish that the practices, procedures and environs of the clinics be held to the highest standards.
