I object to the creation of additional contracting licenses without proven need to protect the health welfare and safety of the public. How can a floor covering subcontractor be expected to add the cost of licensure to his overhead without passing his costs to the consumer?
EO 17 which calls for the elimination of burdensome regulations would be a good metric to apply prior to DPOR making any further changes to the contractor's regulations. This attorney general seems to be asleep at the switch a one page brief not worth the paper it's printed on, Planning and Budget should get a grip before the boss shows up.
