Acupuncture is a medical profession and needs at least two thousands hours of training in Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Point Location, Needling techniques and several hundred hours of supervised practice. Any person who intends to enter this profession should go through the systematic training stipulated by ACAHM and certified by NCCAOM.
