We need to keep the safety of our patients in consideration. The patient that can be you, family or friends. Do you want to have them getting treat by someone who doesn't have the skills and knowledge of what they doing?

Secondly, we need to know dry needling is often associated with acupuncture bc the idea of needle insertion. But dry needling doesn't understand the theory and the foundation fundamentals for this medicine. So sometimes what they do works for patients and sometimes it doesn't work and it's not because acupuncture not working but they just "putting" the needles in people they are not treating the people.

I am happy if AT going through training to do acupuncture but I would not feel comfortable for them treating people without proper training.
