As an acupuncturist for 40 years, I see that the public would see dry needling and acupuncture as similar. This is far from the reality of the over 2000 hours of training that acpuncturists need to become licensed  in most states. Dry needlers are in no way comparable to the understanding of the energy system that acupuncturists utilize and access in our patient treatments. Thank you.
