Those are ridiculously large increases for professions that are understaffed and underpaid already. Given surrounding states have lower fees, they will be more competitive when recruiting talent, especially to those entering the field. Salary increases to these professionals have not come anywhere close to meeting these kinds of increases in fees. Don’t try to meet your long-term budget shortfall that was compiled over several years, all in one huge increase.
