I strongly oppose these increases. What is the justification? What is the board of nursing doing to constitute this extremely high rate of change? We nurses have not been getting 65% raises every two years. Our licensing fees are very rarely covered by our employers so this comes straight out of our pockets on top of staying up to date with the continuing education requirements. This is a barrier to new nurses graduating who will take on more of a financial burden to become licensed. This is despicable.
