I understand there hasn't been an increase in some time, but a more than 60% increase seems severe, especially since it seems counter-productive to this administration's goal to increase the number of nurses coming back to the bedside after COVID? Also, I wish bedside nurses were getting a 2-5% increase in salary every year but typically are not. I understand an increase may be necessary to cover costs, but the percentage is NOT going to help the profession and will not encourage more nurses at the bedside.
