I strongly oppose this increase in the fee when renewing nursing licensures. This will not assist in retaining nurses in the field of healthcare and will increase turnover rates in nursing by increasing the requirements for nurses to keep their licenses. Nursing staff at all levels are underpaid and understaffed, thus, it is unfair to increase the fee to renew their license when those in the field are struggling already.
