Action | Regulations for Licensure of Abortion Facilities |
Stage | Emergency/NOIRA |
Comment Period | Ended on 2/15/2012 |
It is about time that abortion mills have to be held to at least the same standards as a hospital when they are preforming an operation. Minimum standards are for the protection of women and should be enforced. The intent of this regulatory action is to promote and assure the safety of patients who receive first trimester abortion services. If it forces closure of a business because they can not meet the standard, what woman would want to go there in the first place. To cry out against this bill is to aline oneself soullessly with one party and not for the protection of women.
