This proposed regulation, if passed without further opposition, will lead to the end of hunting with dogs in Virginia! The Department and its un-elected Board of Directors has ignored its own data, the Virginia Assembly and the overwhelming majority of Virginia Sportsmen and women to propose this action. The Department has set a course that betrays its own charter. We oppose this regulation and its companion regulation mandating GPS collars in the strongest possible terms.
