I Strongly Support Proposal 7 Section 320: Reasonable efforts for deer and bear hunting with dogs.

I, as a Landowner, and lifetime hunter strongly support this bill.

This bill will hold the dog hunters and hunt clubs that continuously impede others hunt by allowing their dogs to hunt, disrupt, and cause complete chaos on property they do not lease, own or have permission to be on held accountable for their actions.

There is no accountability currently for the dog hunter / hunt club to control their dogs. Every year I have dogs with GPS tracking collars enter my property and actively hunt (not chasing deer) for hours while no effort is made to retrieve their dogs by calling them or using the correction functions on the GPS tracking collar. Its not until after the dog is contained that they now want to contact the property owner and retrieve their dog.

By allowing this action the dog hunter / hunt club is actively hunting properties of others with intent. This Bill will help control them illegally trespassing by means of their dogs to intentionally hunt property they do not own, lease or have permission to hunt.

Please hold these responsible for their actions by enacting this bill.
