Do not take away the peoples access or rights to use this plant. I personally have used and still use kratom to treat chronic pain. I have a choice a plant or a fist full of pills each and every day of my life. So I choose a plant. Kratom is extremely safe as long as it is from a quality vendor and you're not mixing it with other chemicals "medicines". If you look not one person has died with only kratom in their system. It has always been a combination of something else usually.  gabapentin. Please do not take away safe and regulated access to kratom. Or infringe on those that use it. Fun fact I can still take the same dose size I took when I started taking kratom years later and I still feel the same benefit without having to increase my intake like with traditional pain killers.
