The veterinary field and rescue world has spiraled post Covid. We are in a crisis with too much supply and not enough demand with the amount of pets in need. Pets are losing their lives due to something as simple as space in shelters. Adoptions are backlogged waiting for pets to be altered. Many pet owners are on waiting lists for veterinary services and spay/neuter. We desperately need more veterinarians to help with spay and neuter. Please consider removing this barrier. Thank you for your consideration of amending the current regulation from two years to one year.
