The language in the current draft manual conflates the QBISP and CBIS certifications which is not appropriate given the major differences in what is required to attain each of these certifications.   The CBIS certification requires significantly more contact hours with BI survivors , a certification exam and has annual CE (continuing education ) requirements.  In contrast , the QBISP qualification requires a 2 day training, no contact hours required and an individual with this qualification is intended to work under the  the supervision on an individual with the CBIS certification.
