I support Governor Youngkin's decision to put in motion steps for Virginia to withdraw from the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI). The economic impact for supporting the RGGI is negative for Virginia taxpayers and residents, with virtually zero: a) reduction in harmful emissions; b) improvement in quality of life; and c) benefit to the planet. Virginians will achieve a greater benefit by investing in economic development, job growth, and expansion of charter schools to improve the performance of future generations.
