The sale of carbons caps from the RGGI has provided Virginia with $235 million for flood prevention programs and $261 million for low-income energy assistance programs. Govenor Youngkin wants to pull the state out of this agreement to save Virginians a mere $2.39 month. That is pennies compared to the revenue that this program produces. Please reconsider pulling Virginia out of the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative as the program benefits Virginians.
