I placed a child up for adoption. I believe the birth mother should decide how her child should be raised. Her faith and values should be the up most of importance. if she has a strong faith, then the adoption agency should not be forced to go against her beliefs. Just because the child is placed up does not mean the mother does not love them or does not want her values and beliefs to be passed on.
