It has been my observation that those that object to permitting gays and lesbians to adopt children, base their position on nothing other than either their opinion, or an unsubstantiated science. Both these opinions and "science" stem from a seem to be rooted in a sense of angst for this gays and lesbians. This is clear in the wording that may be interpreted as disrespectful. Please, see beyond these hurtful statements that are based on opinion and not fact. These individuals do not speak for me.
