To whom it may concern: 

I am writing in support of prohibiting state-licensed child placing agencies from discriminating against children or prospective foster care or adoptive parents based on race, national origin, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, political beliefs, sexual orientation, disability and / or family status. 

The best interest of the child should be the primary concern when placing a child with prospective parents.  Providing a child in a home which is loving, safe and supportive should be the primary goal; those who are willing and able to provide this environment should be considered, regardless of their race, religion, sexual orientation orother such factors.
