Stronger regulation towards pet shops

Stronger measures and legislation needs to be taken toward pet shops and their duty to provide licensed veterinary care for all their animals, sufficient and clean housing, regular exercise, fresh, food, water, checkups, and provide copies of licenses from the Dept of Agriculture to customers prior to buying a pet. If a pet shop violates a law, they are charged $1,000 a day until it’s corrected but to my knowledge there are no check points to ensure they are not violating those laws. Let’s do something about that.

Morever, I wholeheartedly disagree with allowing pet shops to exist as they obtain animals from cruel puppy mills and the likes. It’s the 21 century, it’s time for change and for abolishing cruel practices.
