I cannot understand why anyone would want to limit the availablity of any loving home to a child in need......do you really think a dysfunctional "straight" couple would be a better choice than a gay couple.

To my mind each potential adoptive home should be evaluated based upon the health, safety and love that child would receive in that home....and that can only be done ny individual assessment and NOT by general exclusionary legislation
