All men and women have the God given right to defend themselves. The function of the Second Amendment is to codify that right, sometimes called the First Law of Nature, i.e., self preservation. One's right to defend ones self dooes not stop at the borders of parks and forests designated as public. No state of the United States has the right to preclude anyone the right to preserve his/her life by any means possible, specifically the carrying of a firearm for that purpose, concealed, or unconcealed.
