Guns in parks and forests

At the heart of liberty is the right to self defense. It is also a duty to defend others under attack. Forest rangers cannot be everywhere. If criminals, especialy stalkers can track the movements of rangers to enable them to attack, knowing also that no civilian is allowed to carry a firearm will only embolden them. Gun owners are responsible citizens, we have a strong sense of responsibility. We do obey laws, even if it means avoiding places we cannot carry firearms. That reduces the presence of good people in the forest and park lands. Criminals have no such compunction about carrying their illegal firearms.
