People carrying concealed weapons who have gone through background checks are not the problem. Criminals who do not obey the law will still carry concealed. The police are not there to protect each one of us at all times as personal security. Allowing law abiding Americans to carry in all places in the country would give citizens the ability to protect themselves from the people who disregard the law. When you prohibit law abiding people who carry, the only ones left are criminals. Criminals attack easy prey. Should I rob someone at their home where they are probably armed or at a state forest with signs that say law abiding gun owners carrying concealed not allowed, criminals welcome, easy targets, just pick any victim, they are defensless. Do not attack another criminal, they will be armed. Common sense says allow concealed carry everywhere for law abiding citizens. As a concealed carry holder I shop and visit gun friendy places. As a law enforcement officer I frequent the same safe locations. Wise up, the guns are not the problem, criminals are! Allow concealed carry in state forests and every other location in the state, no exclusions!
