The first question that comes to my mind is why wouldn't you want citizens who have gone through the process of getting a concealed carry permit to not carry in these areas? Parks are generally out of the mainstream thoroughfares and have less surveilance as local neighborhoods. Should, God forbid, a situation arise who better to assist than an armed citizen who has already proven they can follow the law by attaining the permit. Not allowing the carry on these PUBLIC lands does seem to go contrary to the original point of the lands and the law!
