Speaking as a parent of a current student, It would seem to me that it’s highly unusual to have no religious exemption for a vaccine mandate. In fact, a vaccine that’s not been proven for any real length of time and one that has not even been able to pass the FDA’s requirements except for that as emergency use. The available information is that it may be damaging to a woman’s fertility is of concern to me and should be of concern to all. If the FDA won’t approve these vaccines, why would anyone mandate them with no possibility for exemption? Further, we now know that this virus is not going away even if everyone is vaccinated. We know that vaccination does not prevent one from getting the virus or carrying the virus or most importantly, passing the virus to others. We also know that younger members of our society (students) are generally not as at risk for getting the virus, passing the virus, or having serious reaction or fatality from the virus. So the only question that remains is why you would mandate this experimental vaccine?
