Oppoosion to the state agency buildings gun ban

As a veteran of the US Marine Corps, Vietnam and a total of 10 years service, I find it appalling that I would be considered incapable, incompetent or otherwise untrustworthy to protect myself and others just because I happen to be in a State Agency building. Military and law enforcement are the best qualified to make quick logical and analytical decisions in a situation that might be life protecting. In addition, citizens with a CHP have been deemed qualified to protect themselves and others. The logic in proposing such legislation is beyond my understanding.
