The proposed changes to the crisis intervention services would decrease the quantity and quality of treatment for the individual being seen during a crisis .Being required to conduct an SSPI and ISP every seven days for crisis intervention services is overall doing a disservice to our individuals. It would also serve to discourage individuals in crisis from continuing in services and possibly increase the likelihood of a possible hospitalization or residential crisis stabliization. Not to mention that the majority of the SSPI information collected will not change within a week to week's time frame.
