Action | Amendments Regarding Use of Controversial or Sensitive Instructional Materials |

As a parent I am naturally concerned about what my children are exposed to but the vague wording of this amendment would have every other person across VA walking into the classroom trying to dictate what they deem "sensitive" material. This is also a slippery slope heading to censorship... what will we be discussing next, burning books? PLEASE stop this now. Take care of knowing what your child will be exposed to by getting a reading list at the beginning of the semester, and work with the teacher or administration at your local school if you have issues, because what one person finds sensitive many others may not.
