As an English teacher, I am opposed to this amendment because it would create additional paperwork within our paper saturated school divisions.  Additionally, the canon of literature studied in schools contains many selections that have provocative ideas; the lively discussion of these ideas is a cornerstone, in my opinion, of education in a democratic nation.  Let schools and parents work independently to resolve issues that may arise.
