The proposed amendment would be beneficial for parents to understand exactly what their children are being taught in school. Every day, parents trust that VBCPS and their teachers will appropriately explain and sensitive or sexual material; if teachers take the time to quickly note the sensitive content, parents would feel more informed and comfortable about their child's instruction. If there would be any problems pertaining to objectionable content, parents would be able to freely talk to the teacher about it.
