Regulating a novel with the general term "language" can greatly restrict reading selections in the classroom.  We already struggle to find literature that is the correct level, full of literary devices and relevant themes, and interesting to the student.  A broad restriction such as this one would once again complicate the already difficult job of a teacher. Parents who are concerned should take the initiative to inform teachers of their preferences.
