It is impossible for a teacher to identify every possible thing another person may consider "sensitive" and it is easier than ever for parents to research the books assigned to their children. I believe that teachers should go no further than providing a list of the books to be read for the year. It is then the parents responsibility to understand what's in the novel and then to address the teacher with any concerns they may have. Please allow teachers to teach and Parents to parent!
