Wording is too vague / remove the word "sensitive" from the amendment
As a parent, I am in favor of notification of explicit materials in schools. As a well-read individual I am aware that the word "sensitive" has different meanings to different people. It is conceivable that a teacher would reference the Bible in a class (such as history or literature) and some people may be offended and refer to the Bible as "sensitive" material. This amendment would make life difficult for that teacher.
I read several comments from teachers in this town hall and removing the word "sensitive" would address most, if not all, of their concerns. Please support our teachers and parents by writing a non-vague amendment. Please use common sense and remove the word "sensitive" from your amendment.
